My Big Fat Puerto Rico Vacation

Warning: Don’t watch this if you live above the Mason Dixon line in the continental United States during winter – it may cause jealousy, envy, and/or spontaneous vacations LOL Here’s some footage with a Canon XHA1 from my recent trip to Puerto Rico. Included are scenes from Old San Juan, Fajardo, Guanica, La Parguera and El Yunque, the National Rain Forest. If you ever go, stay away from Isla Verda which is a very touristy, similar to Atlantic City because of the casinos. I recommend renting a car and going just about anywhere else. The rain forest is amazing, the drive along Route 143 is incredible, and don’t miss the UN-mandated bioreserve dry forest in Guanica. The song in this video is called “Carmelina” by Adonis Tsilimparis. Please check out Adonis’ music on MySpace or Garageband.com. Enjoy.

Puerto Rico Vacation, Part 1 of 3 (updated)

We arrive to Puerto Rico, visit family, and stay at El Conquistador Resort. We are given lovely quarters over looking the marina. Hurricane Earl decides to drop by and visit. It causes little disruption to our vacation. The next day after the storm I was playing golf. Also visited Palomino Island and El Coqui Water Park. We do a walking tour of Old San Juan, El Morro, and go to the Heineken Jazz Fest at Condado’s Ventana del Mar.

Gypsy Vacation To San Juan Puerto Rico…

This Video Is FREE And It Is NOT My Intent To Profit In Anyway Or Receive Any Moneys For This Video our trip to san juan puerto rico and Flamenco Beach, Culebra …we had a blast!>

What an awesome time my family and I had in San Juan and vicinity during Christmas 2009. Highlights of our visit included Old San Juan, the El Yunque Rain Forest, Culebra Island and the Bacardi Rum Factory. We stayed at the La Concha Renaissance Resort and really liked it. The waves at the beach were great for body surfing and regular surfing too. The end of this piece has a montage of various birds I photographed on Puerto Rico and Culebra.

Puerto Rico Vacation

Puerto Rico Vacation, Visiting the rain forest in the morning then Castillo de San Cristóbal in the afternoon. Eating on old San Juan, tour of the Bacardi fatory then getting hooked on Mojitos! My brother wanted me to take some photos of him to bring back to show his friends so this is what I came up with. The people were extra nice and the food was great.

Puerto Rico vacation

Puerto Rico is “la isla del encanto”. We visited Old San Juan, El Yunque and Vieques. We spent time with family and had a brilliant time. We took the pictures with a Nikon N80 film camera and created the slide show using Proshow Gold. A higher resolution version is available with the aid of the Photodex plug-in at: www.photodex.com

Fuerte San Felipe de El Morro – San Juan, Puerto Rico

Fuerte San Felipe de El Morro – Discover an array of historical sights and opportunities for natural adventures and quickly conclude that giving up the beaches chaise (at least part of the time) may be a wise move.

Driving around the island gives visitors a taste of Puerto Rico’s exotic beauty, while a visit to Old San Juan reveals how thoroughly the island is steeped in history. A walk through Old San Juan should include a visit to Fuerte San Felipe del Morro, a sixteenth-century citadel which lies on the islet of San Juan. http://www.map-puerto-rico.com/el-morro.html
